Description
Polyurethane (PU or PUR) is a modern polymer material for structural purposes. In terms of its technical properties, this heat-resistant polymer surpasses rubber and rubber materials. As well as offering the resistance of rubber, PU rods add strength and durability, enabling the replacement of plastics and metal. Polyurethane rods not only offer excellent impact resistance, but also have excellent wear resistance and high tensile strength. It is especially necessary to emphasize the thermal conductivity of the polyurethane material if we consider it as a thermal insulation product. PUR rods are resistant to the effects of certain acid components and organic solvents. PU rods are highly resistant to vibration and withstand high pressure levels. Polyurethane is resistant to oils and gasoline, as well as petroleum products. PU rods provide reliable electrical insulation and protect against moisture.
