Description
Fiberglass reinforced kraft paper tape is made of electrically insulating paper in two layers, reinforced between them with glass fibers located along the length of the tape. The two layers of electrically insulating paper of the kraft tape are bonded with oil-resistant acrylic resin, making the kraft paper tape oil-resistant. Kraft banding tape has extremely high tensile strength and adhesive stability to industrial oils. Fiberglass reinforced kraft tape can easily be impregnated, which is why it is not susceptible to the risk of cracks and air inclusions. Kraft tape has heat resistance class A (105°C). Kraft paper tape differs quite a lot compared to other banding tapes as it offers great insulating qualities and oil resistance.
