Description
Insulation crepe paper tape is a product that is distinguished by excellent electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical properties. Crepe paper tape has good elasticity and excellent dielectric properties. Electrical insulation crepe tape is self-extinguishing and has heat resistance class A (105° C). Insulation crepe tape has high density and exceptional strength. Crepe papers are ideally suited to insulate irregular shapes and surfaces where flat papers cannot reach proper insulation levels. Crepe paper is also being offered in rolls of higher wights. The advantages of insulation crepe tape in comparison to kraft paper tape is the greater elasticity it provides, although it doesn’t benefit from fiberglass reinforcement.
